Tuesday 13th May 2008 Fundamentals - Beginners

If you want to learn the skills and techniques of Balloon Art -
this introductory course is for you. Learn how to inflate, size
and knot latex and foil balloons to create a host of balloon designs,
from a balloon in a box and layered bouquets, to a pearl arch or
a spiral garland column. The course will also cover health and safety,
pricing for profit, gas and balloon calculation. Your Qualatex Approved
Instructor will introduce you to the Qualatex Balloon Network and
the world-renowned CBA Examination programme. This certificated
course is a fun-filled, hands-on day designed to give thorough grounding
on the techniques and products used.

Learn how to create spectacular wedding décor with eye-catching
effects. Create superb columns and stunning arches. You will be
filled with enthusiasm as Tope shares his professional knowledge
and shares his top tips, helping you to move your new business forward.

Let's take your balloon décor skills to the next level. Moving
on to the next intermediate class should not be Missed. Tope will
show you how to design, co-ordinate and sculpt amazing canopies
that will dramatically enhance any size dance floor. You will also
learn how to create mouth-watering backdrops which can be easily
adapted to suit all occasions. After the fantastic photos that you
take today, your portfolio will be ready to amaze you brides and
you'll have the confidence to sell your creations. Tope will also
include unique table centrepieces to wow all you potential clients.

FUNDAMENTAL COURSE £110.00 plus VAT per person.

Tuition fee includes the use of all equipment and
lunch.
Courses are held at The Hawain (Premier Inn),
Five Bells Roundabout.
Please arrive at the Constable Suite located on the left, inside
The Hawain (restaurant entrance) for 9.45am.
We are expecting to finish approximately 4.00pm.
You will receive a 10% discount voucher to spend on the day of your
course. So make sure you come back to Up Up & Away upon completion
of your course as it's only valid for that day.
You will need to bring with you a good pair of
scissors, pad & pen and a camera is a must!
